Is there a group buy each month?
and if so, what about this month of January that is almost over? I"m wanting to get another drop, but if there's going to be a group buy or mismatch sale soon, I'd be better off to wait (seeing as the PW purchase kind of drained my checkbook).

I have been watching this and hoping that there will be a group buy this month also - I need one for the end of March. I don't have any silverlake drops and was looking for them at imaging usa this month - but they weren't there...... Just hoping to get a good deal on my first one

I thought they had one every month but I haven't seen any mention lately, not since Dec. And I stupidly missed out on that one.

I couldn't wait. I ordered the Ebony today. Can't wait to get it, just wish I'd done it last month. Oh well, new toy!!

While they do try to do a group buy every month, I think it's safe to say that one for January isn't in the cards. Travis is actually AFK for a few days, he should be back soon.
But I'm assuming the reasoning for no group buy is, that they are launching their Family sized backgrounds in coordination with Sandy Pucs tours. If you look on the store page of the forum, there is currently a sale going on- http://www.silverlakephoto.com/ So they are having a sale this month, just not a group buy, but I would imagine they will return soon! I know January is a crazy month for vendors as it's convention season. Hope that answers your questions!

I was thinking that January was usually a "no group buy" month because of all the busyness of the holidays. . .

We try to do a group buy every month...unless we are behind schedule.
In that case, we can't in good faith put ourselves further behind on a group buy. I will be posting the designs to be voted on later today. And Yes. The mismatch is coming up soon. Possibly the end of February.
