The problem with photographing groups is that all too often, most members of the group are the same height...or the wrong height for your grouping. If you do not adjust for the this, you get the dreaded, stagnant, strait line poses, large gaps, or hidden members in your arrangement. These little discs are the perfect solution for the problem. You can stand or sit on them. They can be used inside or out. I carry a set every time I have to shoot groups. Outside, they work great for keeping the subjects from getting wet knees and hips from sitting on moist grass. Designs similar to this have been around for years, but they always seem to be square, blocky, light in color, or fabric which soils and tears. A round disc is much easier to conceal underneath someone. If they are a smaller person, simply slide them towards the front of the disc. Because they are Black, if they are visible in the photo, they blend in rather than draw attention to themselves.
